Spanish and Portuguese environmentalists are concerned about the flow of the river Tejo wich begins in Spain and ends in Portugal.
The flow rate is drastically declining especially among the city of Toledo, in Spain.
Two environmental movements of Spanish and Portuguese citizens are participatingof a public participation, which is expected to last six months, in order to understand what may be the changes, and to provide input for the Portuguese part of the largest river of the Iberian Peninsula.

For now, the Portuguese group monitors the situation in Spain where such public participation has already begun, multiplied up alerts like yesterday on the Platform in Defense of the Tagus river.
The movement said that the river "runs out" when passing through the province of Toledo, Spain, due to more drought and diversion of Safe Dam.
